Voltage Inputs

Voltage inputs are the most commonly encountered type of signals for data acquisition. The MonoDAQ U-X can be used for both single-ended measurements (up to 8) and differential measurements (up to 4).

Odd-numbered channels (1,3,5, and 7) also have integrated voltage dividers which can be used for measuring higher voltages (up to 10V). In order to use the dividers, the “buffered” measurement type is selected in the type column drop-down menus.

The absolute maximum voltage for the eight input pins is 25V. Exceeding it could cause permanent damage to the MonoDAQ U-X.

Using more channels will reduce the maximum available data acquisition speed so efficient use of channels is recommended. Common configurations are shown below:
